Miss Howard's Gifted Education Blog: My name is Miss Sarah Howard. I am a mother, a singer, musician, and an educator in my thirteenth year of teaching with the Perry County Schools! While attending college, I was a substitute teacher for all grades. It was important to me to give back to my community, so I was blessed when I was hired to teach second grade in my hometown. I taught for four years at Willard Elementary, and I still treasure my memories made with those students! The last nine years have been in Gifted Education, where I work in grades K-12. I love being able to bring real-life experience to an activity, or help a student make a connection with what they are learning! I also love implementing writing, creativity, and the arts in my lessons!
