Gifted and Talented Screening Opportunity for 4th Grade Students If you have a student currently enrolled in the fourth grade and would like for them to take the Online SAGES Reasoning Test for the General Intellectual Ability category, please contact District Gifted and Talented Teacher, Sarah Howard. We are offering this opportunity to all fourth-grade students, in the form of an online assessment that can be taken at home, but it is not required. Students who score at the 95th percentile or higher on this screener will be contacted to take an online placement test in person. This screener/assessment is used for only one area of the Gifted and Talented program. Gifted and Talented is comprised of five major categories: General Intellectual Ability Specific Academic Areas (Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies) Creativity Leadership Visual/Performing Arts (Art, Dance, Drama, Music) If you would like to sign your child up to take this online screener, would like more information on the Gifted and Talented program, or would like to refer your child for an area of the Gifted and Talented program, please contact Miss Howard at the following email address. sarah.howard@perry.kyschools.us
