Scholarship to learn Arab from Vamp--Please read for more info!
Do you know a 7th-10th grader interested in learning Arabic?
The Qatar Foundation International has awarded a grant to The Center for Gifted Studies that will allow ten students to come to VAMPY to study Arabic this summer.
VAMPY, the Summer Program for Verbally and Mathematically Precocious Youth, is a three-week residential program held at Western Kentucky University. Advanced students spend six hours a day in a challenging academic environment exploring a subject in which they are interested. Surrounded by their gifted peers, campers engage in a variety of other activities organized by residential counselors in the evenings and on weekends.
More information about VAMPY can be found on our website, www.wku.edu/gifted/vampy.
Students interested in applying for a scholarship to study Arabic should complete the attached scholarship application as well as a VAMPY application, which can be downloaded from our website at http://www.wku.edu/gifted/vampy/vampy-2017-application.pdf.
